That's Maverick, Head of Security. Good thing he works for kibbles.

Hi, I'm Colin Comer, president of Colin's Classic Automobiles. My business has grown out of a lifelong passion for cars. Like millions of teenagers, I started in my parent's garage, fixing up whatever neat cars I could afford. But while most eventually "grow out of it," I never did. Cars are still my passion. I started my business so that I had an excuse to always be around interesting machinery. I love low production American muscle cars, vintage sports and exotic cars, and anything "cool" that a sensible person would scoff at! Matching these great machines to like minded enthusiasts is why I get up in the morning.I know I could never do anything else this fun and call it work!

Over the years I've worked in every aspect of the industry, from high volume dealerships to specialty restoration shops. I started this business working nights and weekends in my garage. It wasn't by choice, but I learned this business from "the ground up" , as they say! Were you aware that the "ground" included trash cans? I've been factory-trained and certified to service a wide variety of domestic and import makes. I enjoy really knowing how cars work, how good body work should look, and the pride that comes with restoring a car with my own hands. I am an A.S.E (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) Certified Master Technician, and have completed PPG and Sikkens professional paint schools. I have personally restored numerous vehicles myself and am proud to say my work and cars have won countless awards. Bottom line? As a result of this experience, I know what makes cars tick, and what separates the truly fine examples from all the rest.

My customers know that I'm very picky when it comes to selecting cars. I don't just kick the tires -- I do my homework. Besides rigorous visual and technical scrutiny, I do the research so that I know whether a vehicle is what it purports to be: what's right and what's wrong, what's supposed to be there, and what isn't. No junk, and no fakes. Click here to read what my customers have to say about the vehicles they've purchased and the service they've received here. I am incredibly proud of my reputation, and the fact that over 60% of my customers are repeat buyers.

Small: On purpose. Colin's Classic Automobiles is a small company. I like it that way and never intend to change. Besides me, the only full-time employee is Maverick (my well-behaved Head of Security, a 15 year old Chocolate Lab). His younger brother Dempsey (a 3 year old Boxer) helps out part-time, but is still learning the ropes. Being small has it's advantages, though. When you visit my shop, you won't be swarmed by an army of salespeople -- you'll deal directly with me. And I guarantee I won't have to go "talk to my manager" when you are buying a car!

From my beginning in a two car garage, to my current location, I have always kept it simple. The result? A 5,000 sq. ft workshop that was my main location for eight years, and now an additional 17,000 sq. ft. historic 1927 building which I fully renovated to be used as a showroom. Simple. Lots of room, safe, secure, and car friendly. While others may boast about wonderful new buildings with all the frills and acres of cars, that is not me! I prefer to keep the cars as my main attraction. When you visit my showroom you will see rows of neatly organized and stunning cars. No cappuccinos, no pony rides for the kids, no sales staff. But be warned - many a grown man has gone weak in the knees at first glimpse of this place. I'll let you decide for yourself, but just to make it perfectly clear up front: No, you can not move in.

The Good News and Bad News. I take great pride in the condition of the vehicles I sell. However, I realize that most cars are not 100 percent perfect, and will always be honest about a vehicle's condition. Unlike most dealers or dishonest private sellers, I won't try to cover up or distract you from a car's flaws -- in fact I will be sure to point them out. It's the right thing to do, and it's simply good business. I encourage and welcome rigorous inspections. A well informed customer is my favorite kind. Really. No pressure, no rush. To make inspections easier, I even installed a drive on lift in the showroom. I am proud of my cars and think they are the best of their kind. I want to show you why!

If you are a serious buyer looking for a particular vehicle, I can help. Put me to work-- sign up here for my Car Finder service. Cars are my business and my life! I am a member of just about every local and national car club there is. I know where a lot of cars are, and I maintain close relationships with the "who's who" of the collector car world. I also attend hundreds of shows and auctions throughout the year. This gives me access to many rare and hard-to-find vehicles that most people just never see. If it's out there, I will find it for you.

Location, Location, Location. Although hidden from any major thoroughfare, my facility is convenient to anybody wishing to visit. Located three miles north of downtown Milwaukee , and just a short 15 minute drive from General Mitchell International Airport - Milwaukee's major airport, I am easy to get to. Despite what you have heard, Milwaukee is also a pretty decent place to visit - in the summer at least! Harley Davidson, Miller Park, Miller Beer, Summerfest, the lakefront, downtown, the renowned Calatrava art museum (where Porsche shoots its print ads!), and of course, world famous Road America in Elkhart Lake is just a one hour drive north. We'll have a beer and a brat waiting for you.

Please be sure to arrange an appointment before you visit, as the nature of this business often takes me off premises during regular hours. Call ahead and I'll be happy to arrange a showing. I look forward to helping you and becoming your friend in the business.
